WP needs some Music…

They need an app or widget that plays live music on your blog page. It could be a radio link, or a playlist you create, either way it’d add a little spunk to whoever adds it to their blog.
I’m probably not the first to come up with this idea, but I think it’s well needed!

If you link to mp3s stored somewhere besides here at wp, you don’t need the paid upgrade.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/odeo/btw, if you are thinking about auto-play, keep in mind that many people hate it. They might be at work or somewhere sound is inappropriate. Or they might be listening to their own music.

I agree with Tess about the autoplay music. It’s on my list here: http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2009/05/31/blogging-how-to-lose-me-as-a-reader/ Succintly stated “If a blog that is not in the music blog niche has auto-play music that I do not have a choice of clicking on to hear or not – it’s the kiss of death.”
