WP newbie needs help with comment box issue please
-
Hi there,
I really don’t know the first thing about WordPress so I am hoping someone will be able to help me out.
I am customizing a WordPress website that was given to me in an online venture I’m participating in. I added a post to the home page. I see the comment box underneath my post. When I click on the comment box it takes me to a page that says “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here”.
The comment boxes for the other posts on the page work fine. These posts were already included when I received the website.
I noticed this in the page.php (page template) section of edit themes:
<?php endwhile; else: ?>
<div class=”post-content”>
<p><?php _e(“Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”,”piano-black”); ?></p>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>Although I don’t know beans about all of this code I do see that the “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here” text seems to be written into the code.
I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to make the comment box work like the other posts. The post in question is the first one on this page: http://www.smallbusinessworkathome.com
Thanks so much!

I’m sorry but that blog is not a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM so we cannot help you with it. WordPress.COM blogs and wordpress.org installs operate on different code. The correct support forum to get support for that blog is here > http://wordpress.ORG/support
For more clarity please read the sticky post at the head of this forum or the summary provided by Staff in the support documentation.
