WP not installing on my Android Tablet

    Hi. I have Acer A1-840 tablet. Android version is 4.4.4. I can download the WordPress app from Google Play app that is on my tablet, but it does not go on to install after 100% downloaded. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi there,

    If the app does not install at all, there’s not really anything we can do. If I had to guess I’d say your device has insufficient memory to install the app, or it could have insufficient RAM to even run the installer itself.

    Android 4.4.4 is very old, and just about the oldest version of Android on which the app should still work, but even if the app is compatible from a software perspective, if your device itself cannot handle the app’s installation you won’t be able to use it on that device.

    Hi. Actually now the app has installed. There might have been a problem with Google Play. So, I’m sorted. :-)
