WP page builder not working

    I have had a wordpress site set up and installed the theme (newspaper) myself. We are using that same theme on another website without problems , but on this new website I cannot get Visual Composer to work properly. In the text block, the visual tab does not show up, only the text tab. I do not know how to edit with html, so I need the visual tab. But it is not giving me the ‘visual’ option. Theme support said, it seems to be a wordpress issue. We have since reinstalled wordpress, but the problem persists.

    I am having exactly the same problem on our site and I urgently need to make an update to it. There seem to be a few people posting this kind of query so is there an issue?

    We still have no fix for this. And there seems to be no support from WordPress techs here. Disappointing.
