WP Plugin

I have purchased many web app software that require WP plugin. They have video tutorials to follow along. However their video tutorials do not match my word press site. They show me to click on tabs that my WP does not have as an option. I contacted their support through email but all they do is tell me to watch their video on how to install the WP plugin. I have even sent them a screen shot of my WP that does not match their video, but all they can do is to tell me to watch their videos that don’t match my WP. Can you offer any guidance at all?

That’s not possible on any wordpress.COM hosted site, regardless of upgrades.
There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ to any wordpress.com sites. You cannot install any plugins into any site hosted by wordpress.COM.
WordPress.com sites have some built in plugins http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/. However, if you are reading anything that makes you think that we bloggers can install plugins, advertising, custom themes or third party themes on sites hosted by wordpress.COM, then you are mistaken/misinformed. We have never had that ability. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.
The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
