WP Reader Comments not displaying on site

    In WordPress.com I get a notification of a comment that needs to be approved. I approve the comment and try to reply.

    The approved comments never appear in the comments section nor on my website, which is self-hosted.

    As for the reply it never seems to get submitted no matter how many times I hit send.

    Here is a link to what I see in WordPress.com (https://photos.app.goo.gl/QyWxT7XqtMQQhQLY6) from the comments tab. My website comments display but off to the side, you’ll see my notifications, which shows the approved comment, which is not on the other list.

    Why are these comments not displaying? Why can’t I reply to these comments?
    My site is connected to WordPress.com and I do have JetPack installed.
    Please let me know how to resolve this problem.

    Hi there, everything looks good on our end of things when one of our Jetpack team looked at the debug information.

    Can you log out and clear your browser cache and cookies and then log back in and check again?

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    Then go into your site dashboard and under “Comments” check and see if the comments appear there and what the status of them is, if they are there?
