WP Reader – what others are posting.

I hate to sound like a total flippin’ idiot, but where is the link to the reader? I can find no link in the dashboard, the ‘drop downs menus.’ And why – when I click on a tag, at the bottom of an article, I’m directed to a list of MY OWN ARTICLES – as if the tags are working as categories?

Hi Donnie!
You can navigate to the Reader just by entering WordPress.com into your address bar. From your Dashboard, just click the “W” logo in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
Regarding tags, if you’re clicking on tags from your blog, that will result in an archive of that tag’s usage on your blog being shown. This would be an example:
http://sldailyissue.com/tag/steve-evans/
I believe you’re looking for tag usage across WordPress.com. If so, you’ll need to enter the tag under the “Tag” search on the Reader. Just navigate to WordPress.com and enter the tag in the sidebar “Widget” titled “Tags”. The tag will be displayed like this:
Clicking the tag link there will open up a search across WordPress.com revealing other blogs that have used that tag as well. Does that help to clarify the tag usage?

Thanks for getting back. Seem like I had no sooner posted this, when I accidentally discovered the WP Logo link.
It might also be instructive that nowhere in my forums or support search, could I get a ‘hit’ on ‘reader link’ – and a bunch of other search terms I can’t even remember now – to find the answer. And, while I regularly use the Blog Logo link, I was surprised to learn the WP Logo – to the left – was also a link menu.
