WP Removing Backslashes Again!

  This has been happening for years. I write something like C:Program Files, and WordPress converts it to C:Program Files.

  We have gone around about it previously. I thought it was fixed. Now I find it happening in a brand-new post (https://raywoodcockslatest.wordpress.com/2023/08/22/wtg-update/). Why?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Oddly, I cannot simply edit my OP to add that link. When I click Edit, it says I cannot create new topics. Evidently a bug.

  Oh, that’s funny. The OP was supposed to display C colon slash Program Files. That’s what I typed. Backslashes are even being stripped out here.
