WP self-hosted blogs don't load in Google

    I’ve got a frustrating problem. When browsing my Reader or checking my Likes, I sometimes find a blog that is self-hosted. I click on the link, and nada. Nothing. Zip. The page will not load.

    Here’s an example. I clicked on her site just now via a “like” she left on my site. It took me to her gravatar, where I clicked on her beading site.
    http://stephiesbeadsandbaubles.com/. Even after 10 min this site failed to load.

    This is not a one-time thing. It happens almost every time … if the blogger is self-hosting that site won’t load.

    Oddly enough, as soon as I put these addresses into Safari, they load immediately. Is there some glitch with Google? (This happens with almost all similar self-hosted sites … Google fails to load, Safari goes right to the site. I work on a Mac.)

    Hope you can snag the gremlins causing this. ;-)

    So, http://stephiesbeadsandbaubles.com/ is actually not a self-hosted site. It is a WordPress.com site.

    These problem you are describing happens when you click on things directly from your Reader? Or only when you click and go to a Gravatar and click there? Does it happen if you log into your reader on another browser like Firefox or Chrome?
