  I am trying to export my blog entries. In order to do this, I need to find out who the server and database names. Anyone know?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Irene,

  There is a built in “export” tool to get all your content into a file that another wordpress install or service can use:

  1) Login to your dashboard: http://losingirene.com/wp-admin/
  2) Go to “Tools” – > “Export”
  3) Download the export file with whatever authors you want (all)

  That file can be used to import your content to another wordpress installation or even another service. With wordpress.com you have access to all your content, but neither the server nor the database directly.

  Interesting, godaddy.com sets up its import entries function and asks for the wordpress server name, database name, etc. I wonder why if it is not possible. I will ask them
