WP Site disappeared!

  I have a really unusual problem. My entire site has disappeared. I suddenly got a message that said:

  “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘require_once’ (T_REQUIRE_ONCE) in /home2/crezner/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/functions.php on line 47”

  This happened when I was trying to re-size my YouTube video, and it didn’t work. I tried logging in again, but got nothing. Now nothing works AT ALL!

  Hi there!

  I looked into your domain’s Whois record and found that it’s hosted at HostGator. So it would be best to contact them regarding the error you’re receiving because they’d be able to look into it.

  Hi,
  I contacted Hostgator, and they did a restore of the backup, but it didn’t work.

  It seems that the problem all revolves around the “parse error” on my site.

  If you just go into …. /home2/crezner/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/functions.php … and look at line 47, the answer will be there, I assume. Maybe some code was deleted from that page. If that page could be restored to original settings, that would probably solve it.

  The message says…….

  “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘require_once’ (T_REQUIRE_ONCE) in /home2/crezner/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/functions.php on line 47”

  The key to the problem lies on that page. From Dashboard, go to Appearance > Editor > Theme Functions (functions.php)… then I pasted in a code halfway down. And then the problem happened.

  Please restore original settings on that page (if you can) and see if this works.
