WP Site will not delete properly. Notification will not send.

  I have never had an issue deleting blog sites before, however I have attempted to delete my blog three times now and the notification email does not send. I receive no emails to confirm site deletion, I’ve gone so far as to delete every post on the blog and then delete the blog and it still will not delete, it will not send an email for deletion confirmation. I’ve checked my spam filter, nothing, checked my settings, nothing.
  This is beginning to upset me a little bit.

  After about the tenth attempt, I finally got results and received the email. Hopefully the blog should be deleted now. Please disregard this issue.
