wp-stats – connection problems

    Hi there,

    I set up a worppress blog and want to use also wp-stats. Even I use my valid API key I got the following message:

    Error from last API key attempt:
    Your blog was unable to connect to WordPress.com. Please ask your host for help. (transport error – could not open socket: )

    But everything exept wp-stats works fine! Does anybody has an idea to solve this problem?
