WP Stats stop working AFTER installing Jetpack

  • Unknown's avatar

After a recent install of Jetpack, I cannot see my stats anymore. I get the error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”.

I have successfully authorized Jetpack to connect to wordpress.com, and my external site shows up in my wordpress.com profile.

The WordPress.com Stats plugin that I used before is not working anymore, either – uninstalling jetpack and “downgrading” does not help.

Right now I do not have access to my stats at all. Other threads around similar problems list installing jetpack as the SOLUTION, however in my case it was the installation of Jetpack that caused the problem in the first place!

    Hi there,

A few users have mentioned having trouble viewing their stats. We’re currently looking into this issue.

Just a few questions to help us sort this out:

    1. Do you know what version of PHP you’re running?
    2. Where’s your site hosted?

Could you please try disabling any plugins you might be using, including Jetpack? Then, re-activate Jetpack, and see if that clears up the issue.

If it does, you could try re-activating your plugins one by one until you find the plugin that’s causing the conflict.

Could you please try upgrading to Jetpack 1.2.1?

This issue should now be resolved:
