wp storing a file on my computer?
-
I opened wp and got this message repeatedly: this page would like permission to use 10 mb to store “calypso.” it is currently set to use 5 mb.
Or something like that . . . wouldn’t let me do anything while the window was open, when I clicked don’t allow it immediately opened another window and asked again, until I closed the browser.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

hi,
Calypso is the new WordPress.com front-end – a beautiful redesign of the WordPress dashboard using a single-page web application, powered by the WordPress.com REST API. Calypso is built for reading, writing, and managing all of your WordPress sites in one place.
It is strange that you are getting the message.
I will tag this for WordPress.com staff to investigate. -
Hello there,
This seems to be browser specific. Are you using Safari?
If yes, Safari is just asking your permission to allot more space to cache files from Calypso. Calypso is the name of the interface you see when you click ‘My Sites’.
Here’s a post with more information Calypso files in the cache

Also, here’s an earlier Staff reply on this subject: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/getting-this-message-why-valid/?replies=2
A tip for our volunteers, Tag searches are beneficial in finding related issues. Add a tag (here I used the Calypso tag) and then look at previously tagged forum threads.
