WP Subscribe and Elementor conflict?

    I am using Elementor (free) with the Vogue theme from Kiara. The front page is set to full width with no side panel. When I try to apply the WP Subscribe widget to the bottom of the page using elementor the widget loads and shows up on the page but I don’t have access to any of the controls to modify the content. The ‘control panel’ only shows the three content providers (of which MailChimp is the one I need) and has a link named ‘Panels’ which is NOT active. I’m thinking that is the link that is needed to modify the WP Subscribe control. Is anyone aware of this issue?
