WP Theme not the same as outside WP Service website

    Hi all,

    I’m new to the world of WordPress, but I took the open Source road this year and transfered all my posts/comments from Blogger to WP (using the WP Free Service wordpress.com) choose my theme, and got everything workin’

    a few day after I manage to get a hosting account and I now want to use that hosting instead of wordpress.com but the Theme I choose is not the same, it is in the layout but it lacks the Widgets part… the part where I can add widgets to the side bar

    “haoticSoul 1.0 by Bryan Veloso

    An old version of the beloved Avalonstar, remade into a WordPress theme.

    All of this theme’s files are located in wp-content/themes/chaoticsoul-10.”

    after click Widgets:

    “No Sidebars Defined

    in other hand, the same Theme in wordpress.com says:

    “ChaoticSoul by Bryan Veloso

    A dark 2 column theme based off of a certain designer’s old website.
    Options: Widgets | Extras | Custom Image Header | Edit CSS

    Tags: dark, two columns, black, custom header, fixed width”

    How can I use this theme the same way in both blogs? what files to update, and where do I get all those new files … is there a Package that I can install and have all Themes/Widgets/Plugins that is currently use by wordpress.com by default?

    You cannot use the theme the same way in both platforms. The formatting options here on WP.com are deliberately limited and customized by staff.

    For how to adapt your downloaded version of Chaotic Soul, you’d be better off asking at the designer’s site, or WordPress.org.
