  Hi, i cannot update my site from WP 5.25 to 5.4 – ive tried manual and auto and it fails. how to address?

  on WordPress.com you do not need to upgrade your WordPress version, we do that for you. If you’re talking about a site hosted elsewhere, you’ll want to write on the community forums to get help:

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
