wp update screwed up my site

    Hi, for some reason when wp updated last week, it changed my hosting and site ownership back to wordpress. I switched everything over to hostgator 2 years ago. I have been going through the articles but I can’t find the options I need to get everything back on track. Please help

    That really does sound odd. Is your domain registration up to date? Did you point the DNS pointers to your self-hosted site from wherever your domain is registered?

    If anything, I’d suggest contacting Hostgator support and/or the ORG forums to see if anyone else has encountered this issue and can offer a solution.
