  i found a feature on another wordpress site that i want to put on my own but i can’t find it on the wordpress dashboard anywhere?

  it’s an “ad box” which displays and scrolls through at least 12 ads.
  i love it but can’t find it in wp but i know it’s there.

  Im kinda new to wp, please help me navigate the wp dashboard to the correct plugin or feature to find this ad box.

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like the one linked to your username and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  More to the point is this. No blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM. The onlye advertising program here is WordAds.

  ok i figure out how to start the setup in my yahoo hosting management tools.
  i got it all set up now but as soon as i put in the username/pass/filedirectory….and it takes me to the next page , wordpress logo is on the screen and it says “sign in” so i tried my wordpress.COM username/pass and that didn’t work, i tried my yahoo username and pass and that didn’t work.

  i went to wordpress.ORG and i don’t see any place to “create account” or “sign up” so what do i do?

  please help.
