wp_old_slug_redirect redirections
-
I’ve had a problem with these redirects for a while now. This feature affects ranking. The question is simple.
How do I disable wp_old_slug_redirect completely?
All the answers I found online don’t work, probably because I’m using the TT3 theme. It would be useful if I could turn off the old slug completely (I don’t want WP to remember, save, or make redirects)
Thanks in advanceThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out to the WordPress.com support forum. We understand the importance of addressing such issues.
Firstly, I’d like to clarify that your website is hosted on a third-party hosting provider and uses the open-source version of WordPress, not the managed version available on WordPress.com. This distinction means that our team has limited capacity to directly assist with issues on externally hosted sites, as our tools and access are designed specifically for sites we directly host.
For more clarity, WordPress.com provides a managed hosting environment where many of the technical aspects, such as security, performance, and backups, are handled for you. It simplifies the WordPress experience, allowing you to focus more on content creation and site management. You can learn more about our managed hosting at: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Given your situation, I’d like to mention that if you’re interested in experiencing the benefits of WordPress.com’s managed hosting, you have the option to migrate your website to our platform. We offer an easy-to-use migration plugin that can assist you in moving your site seamlessly. To learn more about the migration process and how to get started, you can visit:
Use the Move to WordPress.com plugin to migrate a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com. Follow the steps in this guide to import your site (including your content, media, plugins, and theme) directly from your wp-admin dashboard. If you’re facing issues specific to the open-source version of WordPress and your theme, I recommend reaching out to the community support forums for the open-source version. The community there is vast and knowledgeable, and they are in the best position to help with such inquiries. I hope this provides some clarity and guidance. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
