wp_postmeta, what does go in there ?

  Hey,
  we are using WordPress in a site that has Places and eventsOn running, however we notice that sometimes the newly inserted place data goes into the wp_postmeta table others it doesn’t…
  Searched for more information about this table schema and no result, can anyone shed a light on this ??
