wp_text field in wp_options table – how to extract?

  hi,

  i am building an custom application that queries data from a wordpress database. and need to access information for text widgets.

  this is the value of wp_text field (two widgets: Box 1, and Box 2):
  a:2:{i:313263631;a:2:{s:5:”title”;s:15:”Box 1 goes here”;s:4:”text”;s:24:”my box 1 content”;}i:313263632;a:2:{s:5:”title”;s:5:”Box 2″;s:4:”text”;s:13:”this is box 2″;}}

  can anyone please tell me how to extract data from this string?

  sorry, the table was ‘wp_options’, and the field was ‘widget_text’.
