  I just thought that it would be mighty awesome if one could access WordPress.com or accountname.wordpress.com as simply WP.com or accountname.wordpress.com. Similar to what altavista.com did with the av.com.
  Then I would definitely the payed account.

  why would it matter either way. I dont see the added advantage. If you ask me, putting in WP doesn’t look as cool or legit as just putting wordpress.

  its shorter and thus easier to remember. I was thinking to begin using my blog as a portfolio domain.
