WP.COM change blog name

  Hello,

  As owner of a web&print media bus, I have many wordpress.org websites, however watned a personal WP.com one for myself.
  In my account – ownwest – I have 2 blogs with wordpress.com

  I’ve noticed that:
  Focus1d.wordpress.com = is using the “Ocean Mist” theme
  blogkso.wordpress.com = Ocean Mist theme is not found

  Can you please CHANGE the blog URL from Focus1d.wordpress.com TO blogkso.wordpress.com; so I can take advantage of the Ocean Mist theme at blogkso.com? Then you can delete Focus1d.wordpress.com for me

  Hi ownwest,

  It looks like the theme Ocean Mist has been retired. That means it can be used on an existing site that has the theme activated, but cannot be added to a new site.

  You can use the blog name change tool to rename your Focus1d.wordpress.com site, but you cannot use a name that is, or has been, used by another blog in our system.

  If you wish, you could rename it blogkso1.wordpress.com or something similar, but not blogkso.wordpress.com.

  To be honest, what I would recommend instead is that you choose a new theme for your blogkso blog. We have some great ones that are very similar to Ocean Mist in terms of layout, and you might find one that you like even better. The advantage of changing your theme is that the new theme will be able to fully take advantage of our various features and functionalty, and in most cases will be more responsive, meaning it will display better on mobile devices.
