wp.com host to self host with same domain

  hi,
  though there are many questions on domain issue, but i can not find answer to this.
  If I have a blog hosted by wp.com with own domain (10$ upgrade) and want to move to self host (say dreamhost), will all my links, permalinks, etc still work there. what about googlepagerank etc.

  The links OUT of the blog will work. The internal links (ie from one blog post to another) I am not so sure about. Perhaps someone else can help?

  Your pagerank should stay the same and your Technorati ranking as well.

  One thing to be aware of: Your uploaded files will all be at WordPress.com. If you move them, or set the blog to private, you’ll have to change the links.
