WP.com search on landing page with all the other featured articles.

  I hope this is the right place to put this. It would be great if the wp.com search option(http://en.search.wordpress.com/) was on the wordpress landing page. Just a suggestion.

  When you are signed into WordPress.com go here http://wordpress.com and look up at the top right hand corner on the gray Admin bar. There you will find a searchbox. That search utility is avaialble to all WordPress.com bloggers when they are logged into WordPress.com.

  Note also:

  It can take a few days before new blogs are included in the search index. Brand new blogs might not have enough posts for us to accurately determine whether or not it’s spam.

  Also, keep in mind that the search engine only indexes the body text of blog posts, pages, and comments. The blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/

  Thanks much for that. I did try it but it does not seem to be working right now. Something as simple as food got me a
  “Not Found
  Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”
  I will try again later and update.
