WP.com to WP.org-no posts have come over

  I’ve tried to export my wordpress.com blog to a self hosted worpdress.org and the pictures have come over, but I can’t find any of the posts

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s very strange. I would do another XML export file and import that file. Is the wordpress.com blog you exported out of still available?

  It did have a re-direct on it, but that has been removed, and I’ve tried again, but still no posts :(

  What are the URLs for the two sites in question? I’m happy to take a look and help you figure out what happened.

  Thanks for providing the links! There are a few things we can check here.

  First, the export for your WordPress.com site should have come in a zip file. Once you unzip that file, you should see several XML files (4 of them). Can you make sure you’ve uploaded each one? If you don’t have the zip file or if you don’t have 4 XML files, I can send them over!

  Second, can you check your trash to see if the posts were inadvertently sent there for some reason?

  Thanks for the file-I’ve imported them all, and we are making progress, but not quite there yet! I have 403 of 698 posts-any ideas where the others might be hiding..?!
