Wrap Text Around Image
-
Does anyone know how to do it and share the CSS?
I’ve done alot of research and am surprised that WordPress, Elementor, Site Origin, and themes do not natively support this simple yet highly wanted/needed functionality. It really is amazing that this capability does not exist but I have to believe it can be done in CSS.
If you do have this CSS will it also work responsively?
Thanks ALOT in advance.

Hello @wisconsinwebsites,
You can have your text wrap around the image to have a more attractive flow of content. This can be done simply using the left and right alignment icons in your Visual Editor under posts/pages.
Please have a look at this document which describes the same with the examples – https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-alignment/
I hope this helps!
Let me know how it goes or if I have misunderstood your concern.Thank you,

Thanks alot but that is not an image wrapped by test. It is an image with text on the side or top and bottom, but not an image within text like this.
Lorem ipsum is a pseudo-Latin text used in web design, typography, layout, and printing in place of English to emphasize design elements over content. It’s also called placeh image here ipsum is mostly a part of a Latin text by the classical author and philosopher Cicero. Its words and letters have been changed by addition or remov
Thanks for your reply though.

Let’s try this one more time.
Have you tried using the image block? This can help you to wrap text to the image block.
The article on images has a section on aligning your image and incorporating it into a paragraph – https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/
Specifically, you can check this at https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#aligning-images
– If you wish to align an image within a paragraph you will first need to insert the image just above the target paragraph block.
– From there, you can add an image just by typing
/image. Press enter after that.– Click on the image and select left or right alignment, this will merge the image into the paragraph block.
I hope this is how you want to wrap the text around an image. Let me know if I have misunderstood your query completely :|
Thank you!

Thanks again for this. But what I am looking for is the ability to embed, not align, an image within text such that the text completely surrounds the image.
Thanks.

Can you provide an example of your requirement using a screenshot to understand it in a better way? I am not getting the difference correctly.
Thank you!
