Wrapping Text Around Image

Trying to have image to the left of text and wrapped, not above text in sidebar. Read the forum issues, but could not find anything specific. Please help! Thank you.

If the image is already in the post, open it for edit and click on the image. Then click on the edit image button at the upper left of the image (mountain symbol) then click “Left” for alignment and then click “update.”
If the image has not yet been inserted, when you go to insert it, click “left” for alignment and then click “insert into post.”
Also, you might want to go to settings > media. You can set a lot of these things, and more as defaults in that section.

Thanks so much foe responding! It’s actually in a text widget, so I don’t have those options.

You should be able to use the align=left tag.
For instance:
<p><img align=left src="the image that you want to wrap"> This is the text that you put in to wrap around the imageAdd the “align=left” tag right after the “img” tag and it should work fine.

You have to use more HTML coding in widgets, since there are no wizards to help out.

If you only use the align-left command, the image and the text will be stuck together. Use this:

@beemeister: I added this bit because I saw pixelmama’s image. Personally I’d rather edit the image itself and add a white border to it before uploading it, to save the fuss with codes for margins.
