'Write' page does not load

  When I push the ‘write’ button to do a new entry the page does not load. This seems to be a prob on WP I see with IE11 recently when WP’s scripts do not behave right on IE. Any ideas?

  Hi @mel91872,

  I would clean the cache for IE11, restart it and try again.

  Thanks, but that’s first thing I did. Seems the last IE11 update messed with how some sites deal with scripts, as it’s also affected Twitter to some extent. Or else, as I suspect, both WP and T don’t test scripts on IE11 anymore…

  If you are running Windows 10 then you don’t need to use IE11. You can use Edge and it’s a better by far browser.

  @mel91872 does Edge work alright for you? If it’s a bug with the latest browser update I’m betting they’ll patch it soon. You’d be welcome to try any of the other browsers listed here, too:

  Hi all, thank you for the replies. Not running Windows 10 on main unit. (BTW Edge is an awful browser compared to IE….). Unfortunately MS seems to have been slow to patch anything on IE again thanks to rolling out Edge, which appears to be made for 5-year-olds who have never been online…

  Anyway, no worries folks, thank you all for your input. I’ll figure it out myself.

  Thanks @mel91872 :) If it’s a temporary bug in IE I don’t know that we’d be able to patch anything in time, but if you do find more details let us know.
