write page not loading

  OK first I am working from a pc (yuk). I wanted to find out if anyone knew why the write a post page will not load on my computer. I can go to my Husbands (which is a mac) and it loads fine. I can go to my moms (pc) and hers works. For about a month now I haven’t been able to get it to load. I am only able to post by going to a different computer. If anyone has any suggestions please help me out.

  What browsers are you, your Mon and hubby using?

  What do you see instead of the write page? Anything? Nothing?

  I am using firefox. I have always been able to use it since I started my blog, over a year ago. I have been able to post on my computer up until about a month ago. My mom used internet explorer and hubby uses Camino. The title box and the little tabs that say visual and code appear, and the catagories on the right side, but the box does not appear that you write the post in. At the bottom it just says transferring data from heavenlyramblings.wordpress.com. I have let it sit for over an hour before and it just stays the same and never loads.

  I have also tried opening it in Explorer on my computer but to no avail.

  Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache? Do that, log in again and see what happens.

  It’s got to be something simple on your machine rather than WP, I think that doing the cookie dance may sort it.

  Nope. Didn’t work. I signed in on my Husbands blog and did the same thing. I don’t get why it was working fine then just quit. Argh! this is so frustrating.

  I would contact staff via support and see what they have to say. Include all the details and the fact that you have cleared your cookies and the cache. If it also happens on your husbands computer, and was not happening earlier, then I suspect it is some back end problem.

  Are cookies enabled on that computer? And if you’re running McAfee virus protection, please make sure that WP.com is on your whitelist; sometimes that program totally prevents anything dynamic from loading, like the post box.
