writing a blog

When I first started writing my blog, it was easy. Now wp has changed and I’m about to give up. I cannot figure out how to add an image and wrap the text around (I don’t mean a caption!), how to resize an image, or even delete an image. Can anyone help?

To align and wrap text around an image, please follow the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#align-images
And, to resize an image: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#resize-images
Images are added an as Image Block https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/ now, so to remove an image, just remove the block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/#remove-a-block
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

Thanks for the answers to using images. Now I’ve hit something that refuses to let me continue using a paragraph block. I ask for a paragraph block, but it is outlined in blue and a key strike produces nothing. Also, somewhere along I selected “preformatted text” and “code.” Now I can’t eliminate those lines from the end of my draft. Can you help on this?

Hi @hartman6712,
It sounds like you’re selecting the block, rather than editing its content. What I recommend here is saving your draft and reloading your page in your browser.
If you continue to have issues, please try clearing your browser cache. Here’s how: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
Hope that helps!
