Writing a book

  Heya-
  I’ve been trying to create a index page and organize the the articles I’ve written into chapters. Whenever I’ve tried to do the instructions on this page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/write-a-book/
  everything gets jumbled up and I have to spend the next hour putting everything back where it belongs. I follow these instructions to the letter so I’m not sure what I’m missing.
  The only thing I’ve done is to have a blog {page} not a post and add my blogs to the page. The post page, named “home” just has a “Welcome” message on it and I don’t alter it in any way.
  Whenever I try these instructions, I get the suggested “index” page and the “chapters” page, both in the header/nav bar. I’ve seen the chapters nested on others’ sites and would like to do that.

  Create a custom menu and then you can have submenu items (dropdowns).
