Writing a book, having trouble listing chapters in sidebar …
-
Need advice on how to stack these chapters in the sidebar properly: http://adventuresincardiology.wordpress.com/
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!

For some reason when I mouse over your chapters, they are all nested inside the one above. That is not nessecary, and that is the problem. An ordinary list command in any html editor will do.
-
it looks like you’ve got all the chapters as sub-categories of chapter one. If you make each chapter a separate category, you would not have the problem.
-
Well, if I do that then all the chapter titles show in the header and it looks terrible.
-
Not sure I understand what you mean by all chapter titles show in header, but without getting inside your blog, I don’t know how you have things organized.
-
Are you saying that you have sub-categories under each chapter.
So you have everything sub-categorized under Chapter one and then in addition each chapter is futher sub-categorized? If that’s the case. You may want to make each chapter it’s own category. Sub categorize the headers under each chapter. But go to your categories widget and turn off tick “show sub-categories.” But, I’m not 100% that i’m following all that you’ve done with your categories.

Does this help?
You’re probably best off by putting the links in a text widget, exactly as you’d like them to be. If you don’t know how to write a link, the faq has instructions for that too.
