Writing a post in Visual Editor is not WYSIWYG

    I am writing a post in Visual tab of WP using bold, paragraphs, spacing, etc.

    When I go to see the real post all the formatting is gone and it just looks like a single block of text.

    I go back and edit the post in html tab, adding there the html tags to look as it should. I can save it and finally I am close to what I want to get when I preview it, but very big spaces between paragraphs. Anyway, it is better than before.

    Now I go back to visual and try to make some sentences bold by using the VISUAL buttons. I update the post and when I go to view the post again all the formatting has disappaeared including all the html tags that I added manually previously, so my post looks again like a single block of text.

    Extremely annoying!

    Are you referring to Exhedra at http://exhedra.wordpress.com/. I’m’ asking because it has not been updated since May 25, 2010.

    What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you referring to please?

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, run different theme versions of themes with the same names, and many people get confused about the two.
