Writing Helper buttons don't work
-
I want to use the new Writing Helper tools, especially Request Feedback. The Writing Helper checkbox is checked in screen options. But when I click on the button, no popup window appears. Nothing happens.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there. This is a brand new feature that was just introduced yesterday. Which browser and version of it are you using and have you tried troubleshooting?
- You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
- You could try upgrading your browser.
- You could try using another browser.
If none of those work then you will have to report this issue to Staff. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
-
Please confirm whether or not you are following these instructions.

Hi raincoaster and timethief,
I’m following instructions. Clearing cookies, changing security or privacy settings, or popup blocker setting doesn’t seem to have an effect. I have IE 9; I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’ve contacted Staff but it’s taking a long time to get a response from them about another issue I asked about yesterday and so far no reply about this either. They must be really busy.
Hey, I can ask a colleague to look at a Word document draft of my post. This is not that big a deal except it really puzzles me. Many thanks for your help!

Thanks for letting us know that you have contacted Staff.
You have mentioned Microsoft WORD and if you are copying and pasting from it then please note this entry. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/#using-word-cleanly
Also Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”
