Writing in Code

    I prefer to write in code, so I can more easily edit the way my blog and posts look when published. Whenever I edit anything, I write in code, and it comes out the way I want when I save it, publish it, or view it. However, if I go back and edit it, the code is gone, and all the words are strung together without the code (i.e. the spaces are still there as I wrote it, but the coding is missing from it all). Is there something that I’m missing as I edit, or is it something inherent that happens every time I’ll edit, regardless of what I try?

    For reference, I’m using Safari 3.0.4 as a browser, and the link to the site that’s in question is http://thethirdsight.wordpress.com/.

    Any help is greatly appriciated.

    Go to users > your profile and deselect “use visual editor” and then click update profile. That will take away the visual editor and leave you with just the code editor.
