  My writing is being all squished together at the bottom of the page. I cannot get the last few lines to separate.

  Thanks Grace. I actually pulled everything out of WordPress, copied it in another file, separated everything it squished, and then started a whole new post. It does happen often and always at the bottom of the writing. I wanted to add one extra though to my last post and had to stop the “squish” effect by adding a ~ between spaces. I also had to add a manipulated picture at the end to create a barrier.

  HI there,

  When you copied it in another file did you use a program like Microsoft Word or Google Docs? Because looking at the post in the Text Editor I’m seeing a lot of unnecessary tags which is causing this. While they are fine word processors for producing documents to be shared or printed, as a web publishing tool it is a little less than ideal and produces very messy HTML.

  So, for future reference, we do have a way use Microsoft Word cleanly as seen in the link above.

  If you’re talking about connecting other links within the post, I did use a few more “tags” than usual in this writing. I use a MAC, but when TextEdit did not work for me I copied the document to my hotmail account and then back into WordPress. Yeah, I was getting desperate.
