    Just lost Word in the course of a disk drive replacement and I don’t think I need to buy a new copy. I want to write everything Word-compatible but most of my output is for my WordPress blog or a local website, so I don’t care about page formatting and all I want in text is the basics, plus a good easy highlight-and-click deformatter for cut-and-pastes. Anybody got a free or cheap programme to recommend?
    I did see something, in the course of resetting connections, about a WordPress app for the desktop. Haven’t come across it again since. What does that do?
