Writing to page
-
The Write button on my dashboard brings up only a Write Post option. I need to edit one of my static Pages. How do I get to a Write Page option?

You need to go to Dashboard > Manage > Pages; you should be able to edit your existing pages there. To create a new page, click Dashboard > Write and once it loads you can then click Write Page. Hope that helps.

Neither of those suggestions worked for me. When I go to Dashboard > Manage > Pages, the only tabs that come up are Posts and Uploads — no place to edit or add to a page. When I go to Dashboard > Write, Write Post is my only option. Could this be a permission issue?

Are you listed as a user on the blog or are you the admin? If you’re listed as an author on the blog then it would be a permission issue; I think authors can only write posts and they can’t edit pages. If it’s that you’d need the admin to make you an editor to be able to edit pages.
