Writing under a pseudonym?

  Hi! I keep trying to start a blog under a pen name, one that isn’t identified with my gravatar profile, etc. I’m really struggling. I opened a new blogsite under a different name and email address, then exported my content from the site and it immediately configured to my gravatar profile of my other non-pen-name blogs.

  If you can pretty please help me learn how to set up a blog site under my pen name rather than my real name, I would be so grateful! Sometimes a girl’s gotta write anonymously…

  Hey Emily!

  I totally understand the need for an anonymous blog.

  If you want your site to be entirely separate from your Gravatar and profile, you can start another account under a different email address. It’s the only way to keep your anonymous site separate from your current WordPress.com username.

  For users who wish to take this route, I generally recommend using a different browser. For the sake of convenience, you can have a browser dedicated to your anonymous username/site and your other browser can be used for your other sites and public profile.

  I do this — user a separate browser — it helps keep cookies/history/cache separate for each account. Therefore, all is nice an clean and simple.
