'Writr' theme issue

In ‘Writr’ theme; my sticky or featured post isn’t getting the ‘star’ icon in front of it!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
You may be referring to a different blog, but the one mentioned above is the Saga Theme… Perhaps you were trying a few out and got mixed up.

I applied saga because of that issue now I am again applying “writr”; check it out please.

Try checking on your posts (as you mention sticky or featured posts) so go to Dashboard > All Posts and Quick Edit to make them sticky again, as I tried with one of my blogs and they appeared with the stars…

Some people forget that after marking them as ‘Sticky’ you have to click on ‘Update’ whether in the editor or via ‘all posts’.

I did update it and the first welcome post; it’s been shown as standard post though it has to have a star showing it as a featured or sticky post..

Also check at Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options and see if there is an option about what you display there. (As some themes allow you to display stickys or not)

One of my themes (that I previewed the writr with and it worked..) needs you to ‘check the circle’ to Display Sticky Posts at the Theme Options..

Have also tried it again, and it worked with a blank blog… but only once I had done a second post that was not sticky, did the star appear

Found out that the circle does not apply… as soon as you make another post the star will appear

Or sticky another (older) post and it will appear under the welcome post (as it’s the newest it will still be first)

okay m trying it, but the think is that if I will make two sticky posts then, it will look absurd!
