Wrong Account

Hi there
there is a problem with my account @diafa……
who was the account that in 2014 had created the site https://diafa…….wordpress.com/I recently add an existing user as third admin, he was created with alteration of the name, to something like @mela……2424525. This new user was very strange to me as me and my two others had only clear names accounts, so i was tryin to change him to editor, or author but no change could be made. So i try to remove the account, having in mind that as they were two more admins the site would be present after that.
But with big surprise the site has gone. I ask for help and after an email, the site was present again. So i tried to insert the first account that we have created the site in 2014 and…. a new one was created !! The original was “@diafa……” but as i enter the same email, a new one is present in a glimpse ….”@diafa…….405168439″ !
We have the site back, but no access to it.
So we need your super powers to restore our access to it,

the name of the site is the same whith the one of the the user and also the name of the e-mail that i have create the account, “@diafanosdimos” “diafanosdimos.wordpress” ” (email visible only to moderators and staff) ” .
After my mistake to delete the user that was a thrird admin (melahris2424525), i understand that the system thinks that i am trying to create a new account, so the diafanosdimos has some numbers more, and is like @diafanosdimos405168439.
The result is that i have no access to my site, after this particylar day… -
Are you able to log into the site with the thanaish account that you’re logged into here?

Not as a admin, i only see it. I have full access to all my other sites as admin but not this one.
When a log in to WordPress with the (email visible only to moderators and staff), it goes to the @diafanosdimos405168439… i never followed the procedure to create a new account as the typical procedure as a new user after the recovery of the site, and i never saw that the diadanos.wordpress.com account name had been occupied.
The new account had been created in an instance.
Maybe there is a way to untie my mail from the mumbered account and retunt to the former one. But i dont know how to do it. -
Yes, you can edit the email address that is associated with any given account. The tricky part, is that you can’t have the same email address on 2 accounts. Each account requires a unique email. You’ll need to use a dummy email as a place holder to free up the email address and apply it to the other account.

thanks, i understand that, but the problem is that a few days ago with my diafanosdimos – gmail . com i could log in to @diafanosdimos account. From the day i made the mistake, when i log in, putting the exact same mail, i am going to @diafanosdimos405168439 which is a diffent account. But i never ask for a new account, and i never try to create a new one. I have Windows Defender and Spybot S&d running, i can not explain what happent.

It looks like you’ve since been helped with this via email, so I’m marking this as resolved. In future, please don’t open multiple support request, as it makes it much harder for us to help you if there’s duplication like this.
