Wrong author username when auto-post to facebook

    I changed my username already, but when my post is shared automatically to my facebook account when I post a new entry it still says “by (old username)” as the author instead of the new one :( Then I have to go and delete that post on my facebook and then share it directly from the post on wordpress to get the right username. It’s annoying.

    New username: Nisi and Lisi

    This is likely a caching scenario on the Facebook side. Basically, Facebook has saved a certain username to associate with your posts. Although you’ve changed the username, Facebook still associates the posts with the old username. This can take some time to update. However, can you try resetting your Facebook connection following the steps here?
