wrong blog entry date

  unable to change your default date of March 15 on my new blog started in July. Shouldn’t this change automatically? Please advise. Thanks

  Hello njacacia,

  Just for clarity’s sake, were you trying to suggest that the default date of a new post is shown as March 15th, instead of July?

  Normally, when you add a new post in WordPress, the timestamp on which the post was posted would be displayed as post-date in your blog. However, in case you were editing a post that was already published (in March, in this case), the default date would be shown as March.

  From your question, I think you were trying to edit an existing post – which showed a date in March. You may want to try creating a new post – it should have the July date.
