Wrong colour!

    Hello!
I have set up my site using white text on a black or dark image background on several pages. And after a while, it all suddenly turned to green.

All these pieces of text have a link attached to them. And green in indeed to colour for links in other parts of the site. So I guess it has something to do with that?

When I edit, the colour is white. And it appears as such in colour settings as well. But when I update and preview, it is green. I even tried to switch to another colour, a light yellow, but it still displays as green. And, frankly, dark green on a black background is practically unreadable.

Just a few of the pages that have this problem:

    Din veacurile trecute

    https://minunilesfnicodim.wordpress.com/obstea/
    https://minunilesfnicodim.wordpress.com/de-patimi-izbavitor/

It would be great to have them all white again… I even considered changing them manually one by one (which would take a huge amount of time…), but I can`t do that either…

    Help?

To tell you the truth… I`m a fresh beginner in site editing. I managed to set it all up using visual editing. If you could tell me where exactly I should write that?

    For instance, on this page:

    Din veacurile trecute

I have this, in html editing, for my problematic text:

    <h2 class=”has-text-align-center”><a href=”https://minunilesfnicodim.wordpress.com/sfantul-refuza-sa-si-paraseasca-manastirea”>Sfântul refuză să-și părăsească Mănăstirea</a></h2>

    How should it look like?

And do I have to do this for every single line of text which exhibits this problem? Isn`t there a way to switch it all back to white? As it WAS for a while?

  • Hello there,

Happy to help you with this.

The green colour you’re seeing there is set in the customizer and can be accessed via Appearance > Customize > Colours and Backgrounds.

Just to check, are you writing the HTML for the page?

I think this guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/ on how to work with blocks might be useful to you?

I hope this all helps thus far.
