wrong domain name

    I’m trying to register a domain. I am unclear on why it says 99 dollars on the last page when it said 2.99/ month for one year. I’m also desperately trying to edit the account settings username.

    Hi there,

    All our plans are billed yearly. So the $2.99 option is the Personal Plan which costs $35.88 a year. If you want the Personal Plan, first go to My Site ->Plans and add the plan there. Then go to My Site ->Domains to add your domain.

    You should be able to edit your username from this page:

    https://wordpress.com/me/account/

    You can also set a public display name, which is what people will see when you comment on or author a post instead of the actual username.
