Wrong email address
-
I’m trying to set up a free .com site, http://www.scratchboardfiend.com. In the initial set up, I inadvertently gave the wrong email address, and the two other email addresses I have cannot be used for some reason because the system keeps telling me they are in use. Soooo, I can’t verify the original email address I typed in, and the system won’t let me re-enter a different address, and I’m now stuck in limbo. I don’t remember ever setting up a WordPress web site before, so I don’t know why my gmail or yahoo email sites won’t work. How the hell do I get out of this mess? I want to keep the domain name, since it’s already registered. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @severiansr71 , if you’ll share what email address you’re trying to change to, we can get in touch. Or, did you know you can use aliases with many free email providers? In gmail, for example, you can add a dot in your address and it will still work. Or you could add a plus after the username.
So if you had this as your regular email gmail address:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)gmail would accept any of these, but our system would see them as separate emails:
(email visible only to moderators and staff) (email visible only to moderators and staff) (email visible only to moderators and staff) (email visible only to moderators and staff)So you might consider just modifying the address to something like that.
