Wrong email address ?

So! I have the doverandme gmail address BUT this is not the email I use. It was created years ago when I bought my first cell phone. I have two or three WordPress blogs that I follow. I get email notifications from them sent to my main email address. How do I change my email address to my main email? Thanks.

Help! I “corrected” my email address for WordPress and now I am not receiving replies from Anna Blake’s blogs. I do not believe she is seeing the comments I am posting on her blogs. I am receiving emails from others who are commenting but I do not see them reflected on the blog page.

Hi – Please send a link to one of the posts where your comment is not displayed. It could simply be awaiting moderation. Changing the email on your account shouldn’t affect the comments left on another blog.

Thank you for your reply. I do not know how to send a link, but here is what is happening:
I write/submit a comment off of Anna Blake’s blog. I receive the others’ comments through my herdocap email address, one at a time, but do not see them listed on the blog itself. The latest blog had 10 comments posted but when I go to the blog it reflects only one comment, which is mine. This got started after I changed my profile email address on the WordPress website from the gmail address that was reflected to the (email visible only to moderators and staff) address that I primarily use. -
Please go to the post in question in your browser, copy the link that appears in the address bar, and then paste it in your reply here.
It’s impossible for us to check this without knowing the address of the site involved. We don’t know who Anna Blake is, much less which of the thousands of sites on our platform is hers.
If I had to guess, it sounds like you might have commented on/subscribed to that site as a guest, i.e. using an email address only without being logged into a WordPress.com account. In that case, changing your WordPress.com account email would have no effect on that particular subscription.

Thank you for your help. Here is the link that shows only my comment as to this blog. I received emails where others commented as to this same blog. I have been a subscriber to this forum (?) for more than two years now. It has only been recently that this problem has cropped up. For this particular blog, I received the below request to confirm follow which I did and, as all the previous times, received a “you have successfully subscribed…” or words to that effect. On those previous occasions, upon returning to the blog, my comment was displayed along with all the other commenters.
